While fishing the west end of Shinnecock bay most kayak fishermen found good size fish, up to 30 inches.   Anglers used red tubes tip with a bit of sandworms.  Schoolie  bass were the results.

This past week, Patchogue Locals  have seen the action improve with warmer water temperatures. More schoolie bass in the back creeks attacking small swim bait such as storm swim shards or little lunker city baits.
If that doesn't excite you, take a trip to the north shore where nice size blackfish are hitting baits for shoreline anglers.  Your best bets of landing these fish are local green crabs and sandworms. Anglers are also looking for the first signs of porgies and weakfish

Fishermen heading East are targeting winter flounder with sandworms and clam chum. slower fishing but still boating fish on nice day. For all your bait and tackle needs- J&J sports for curbside pick up and Phone and Online sales fulfillment.
