November Fishing Remains Strong

There is bait all over the place but not many keeper size fish with them.   Most fish have been between 20-26 inch with an occasional keeper. There are peanut bunker and adult bunker in the bay and along the open beaches. Productive lures have been swim shads, Charlie Graves Lures, bucktails, and surface plugs. Fishing in the Great South Bay shows a large population of Striped Bass feeding on bunker anywhere from West Sayille to Brookhaven.  Again most fish are of the schoolie variety but for the patient fishermen some keepers have been mixed caught.   All of the local creeks still have a...
